ABIMEDICAL launched the halitosis measuring device OralChroma™ in July 2002 based on company research related to physical fitness under the basic philosophy of aiming for a company that realizes human happiness.

The number of persons who suffer from halitosis is reportedly 10 to 20 million. Because there was no halitosis measuring device adequate for clinical use in terms of performance and price, and aiming to contribute to dental medical treatment, ABIMEDICAL first developed a standard halitosis measuring device specifically for dental offices in collaboration with Professor Hideo Miyazaki (Oral Life Science), Graduate School of Medical and Dental Science, Niigata University and ABIMEDICAL Corporation.
